Custom meat processing by Hillstead Farm
Here at Hillstead Farm we carry on the proud tradition of custom butchery and meat processing that has fed our nation since it's inception. Whether from the store or direct from the farm, quality meat is a cornerstone of the American diet. Buying direct from farmers is a great way to cut costs and have a long term supply of meat for the family throughout the year.
Hillstead Farm continues the legacy of Hardler Farm, whose patriarch Michael J. Hardler first built and operated the Butcher shop in 2001. After over 20 years of serving the community, the butchering is now spearheaded by his son-in-law Hunter Hill. Over the course of the shop's history, the family has persevered through a fire which claimed the original building in 2007 and was rebuilt in 2008 with the future in mind.
Today, the shop is home to a small farm store which hosts in-house processed retail meats, and raw milk products provided by Hardler Farm's raw milk dairy and micro-creamery. We strive to perfect our practices and expand our offerings to share our love of quality meats with our community.
